Xiaomi EVE Plus is one of the most popular robot vacuum cleaners in the first half of 2024-2025.It aroused particular interest due to the presence of lidar, a self-cleaning base, and the ability to simultaneously perform dry and wet cleaning. And all this for 30-35 thousand rubles. In addition, this model boasts advanced features that only premium segment analogues have.

The robot is controlled using the Roidmi app. It is simple, has a clear interface and supports the Russian language. Once connected, the device can be controlled from anywhere in the world.

The robot itself builds a map of the apartment. To do this, it uses the fourth-generation ultra-sensitive LDS LiDAR. The room is scanned using 30 built-in sensors. The manufacturer claims that this model cleans up to 40% faster than its predecessor.

You can add up to 5 cards to the application. This feature will be useful for owners of multi-storey buildings. You just need to move the robot to another floor and select the appropriate card. After that, the device will independently cope with the cleaning.

In the application, you can select the type and intensity of cleaning. The intensity is divided into 4 levels. The type can be dry or wet. There are also water supply levels.

The map of the apartment is divided into separate zones. Thanks to this, you can select the room to be cleaned. It is possible to set cleaning periods with days, time, type and intensity level.

The robot overcomes obstacles well. But its main feature is a large 3-liter dust tank.When the device is returned to the docking station, the debris moves from the small dust bin to the large one. According to the manufacturer, the tank should last for 2 months. Conventional vacuum cleaners need to be cleaned after a few cleanings.

The water tank is enough for 2-3 wet cleanings. Also it has ozone and deodorizing user protection. Xiaomi used a HEPA filter and active oxygen technology, which is often used during the sterilization of medical instruments. As a result, all microorganisms die. During the emptying of the tank, the debris will be completely harmless.

Before cleaning, the manufacturer recommends removing everything that the robot can get tangled in, such as wires. But according to user reviews, the device copes well with them.

Xiaomi EVE Plus is able to overcome obstacles up to 2 cm high. It also does not get stuck under furniture, since its height is determined using LiDAR. If the thickness of the device body does not allow you to clean under the sofa or closet, the robot will not go there.

The device cannot stop in place due to discharging. When the battery level drops to 15%, the robot stops cleaning and returns to the docking station.

All sills passes without problems. When switching to the carpet, another power is switched on. Great for removing cat hair from carpet. The app is also available for IOS.

Cleans up well enough. The only downside I've noticed is that the vacuum cleaner can't park on a rag on a carpet. Our charging is located exactly there, since there is nowhere else. The rag is bent, and the vacuum cleaner slows down. But it sends a message about it. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase."
