I've only been using it for 4 months. I bake cakes to order, so I am familiar with this technique. Although a small oven, it is more than enough even for large cakes. It heats up very quickly, the fan is almost inaudible when it works. I also consider it an advantage that the inside of the dish is very clearly visible when the backlight is on.
